Looking for something a little different to do with your friends on a weekday evening? Feel like flavour-testing a new hobby? Seeking new avenues for your artistic practice? Our ‘taster’ courses in the studio might be just the thing you’re looking for.

Come into Studio4, find a place at the table, take in the art on the walls and enjoy designing and bringing your creations to life. This 2 hour session in the studio will teach you a little about kiln-form glass art, and how to go about painting with enamel onto sheet glass to brush, dab, dribble, and sponge to achieve a range of effects in your custom designs.

Your creations will be fired in the kiln and slumped into moulds to create a one-of-a-kind dish or sculptural object, ready to be collected the following week.

All tools, safety equipment, and artistic materials will be provided, simply come to the workshop with an apron or clothes you don’t mind getting dirty, a bit of inspiration, and some fun ideas to work with.

Please note - all of our workshops have a minimum class size of 6 and a maximum of 10. Workshops may be rescheduled if minimum attendance cannot be reached. You will be notified by email in advance, should such circumstances arise.
